From beginning to end, Reuben oversees the creation and production of the albums and live shows he works on.
Beginning with workshopping ideas into full songs, he populates your arrangements with his extensive instrumentation, and provides guidance on recording strategies, both for bands and individuals.
Mixing live band tracking with overdubs and skilful editing, he will not only polish your project, but breathe into it new life that you didn't know it had.
His extensive booking networks, along with his general industry knowledge and skills allows a seamless transition from an idea, to creation, and release.

Reuben plays the Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, clarinet, flute, piano, drums, guitar, bass, trumpet and sings!
Reuben has performed and recorded with jazz pioneers such as George Garzone and Joe Lovano as part of his Bachelour of Music. As a session musician he has toured and collaborated with musicians such as The Teskey Brothers and Archer, and recorded with JK-47, Jimmy Dowling, and Sun Salute.
He performs wedding gigs and jazz and funk sessions with his trio on saxophone and piano, and with the "Baker Boys" wedding band.

Reuben holds a Bachelor of Music Performance in Jazz from Monash University, and a Masters of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. He has been woodwinds for over 10 years, both in schools and from his home studio in Reservoir. These roles include private lessons and directing ensembles of all sizes and levels.
Reuben has also been involved in delivering several community music programs such as Co-Directing the Brunswick Community Gospel Choir, and producing and recording The Lirrawi Wanderers, based out of Jilkminggan community. He has also participated and collaborated in folk schools around the world: Ethno Australia, Ethno Sweden, and Ethno Macedonia.
He offers private teaching and mentorship from his home studio, either as part of a recording package, or simply to improve on your instrument and have fun!
